Food & Essentials
Once you arrive at the Château, we want you to be able to fully relax and enjoy the weekend.
We’ll provide a small welcome pack in each apartment with some drinks and essentials to help you settle in. All main meals will be provided across the weekend, from Friday’s Welcome Dinner through to Monday’s farewell breakfast.
Please note that the Château is quite remote, with no supermarket nearby or shops within walking distance. If there are any favourite snacks, drinks, or little extras you’d like to have between meals, we’d recommend bringing them with you if you have room in your case
Your Stay at the Château
Where you will stay
Everyone will be staying on-site in the Château apartments, grouped with friends or family. Your apartment details will be shared with you when you arrive.
The apartments are all within the Château grounds, so you’ll be close to the celebrations throughout the weekend and able to head back easily when the party winds down.
A note on the grounds
Château Villarlong is a beautiful historic château, with plenty of old-world charm. Please take care when walking around, as there may be cobbles, spiral staircases, steep steps and uneven ground.
Much of the weekend will also take place outdoors across gravel paths, paved areas and gardens, so comfortable footwear is recommended. For anyone wearing heels, block heels or wedges may be more practical.
Arriving at The Château
On Friday 11th September, please do not arrive before 4pm, as we’ll be getting everything ready for the weekend.
When you arrive, we’ll let you know which apartment you’re staying in and help point you in the right direction. Your apartment will also include the key details you’ll need for the weekend, including timings, where to go, and any useful information for your stay.
Gifts
As we are asking you to travel to France and to help towards accommodation, please don't feel you need to bring a gift. You being with us is the best gift we could ask for.
If you do insist on giving us something small, we'd be incredibly grateful.
