Accomodation & Food

We can’t wait to celebrate our special weekend with you in the heart of France. All guests will be staying on-site in the beautiful apartments of the Château, where we’ll share a long weekend of food, fun, and festivities together.

We’re covering all the costs of the wedding day itself, but to help with the rest of the weekend, we’re kindly asking each guest to pay £275, which covers your accommodation and all meals - from Friday’s Welcome Dinner through to Monday’s farewell breakfast.

Your Stay at the Château

Where you will stay
While we’re still finalising who’s in which apartment, rest assured you’re going to love your stay at the Château. Every guest will have their own private bedroom, nestled alongside friends and family you already know!

No need to trek anywhere after the celebrations - every apartment is right there in the Château grounds. You’ll be just steps from all the wedding festivities, so you can unwind in comfort as soon as the party winds down.

Kitchens

Each apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen and fridge. We’ll have all the main meals covered, but you’re welcome to bring along any extras you’d like to have during your stay.

Extending your stay

Château Villarlong are offering a 10% discount to anyone who would like to book additional nights after the wedding weekend. We have not booked yet, but Cat and I will likely be staying for an extra night.

We kindly ask guests not to book at the hotel before Friday 11th as we will be setting up for the wedding.

Getting to The Château

For those travelling from the UK, the easiest route is to fly direct from London Stansted to Carcassonne Airport (CCF), just 20 minutes from the Château. This is the only direct flight to Carcassonne, so we recommend booking early to secure the best fares.

Alternatively, you can fly into Toulouse or Montpellier and reach the Château by train, taxi, or car hire.
If you need any support with travel plans, please reach out to either of us!

See below for some recommended arrival flights from London

Gifts

As we are asking you to travel to France and to help towards accommodation, please don't feel you need to bring a gift. You being with us is the best gift we could ask for.

If you do insist on giving us something small, we'd be incredibly grateful.
